President & CEO, July 2000 to January 2002; Chairman & Chief Technology Officer January 2002 to present.
Founded Gold Barter Holdings in July 2000 to capitalize upon opportunities in the online gold economy. Conceived the Gold Barter web site as an online auction service offering competition to eBay and Yahoo Auctions denominated in gold. During the development of this premier web site for the company, Tristan conceived of the need for an exchange service to convert among the many available digital gold currencies. Cambist.net was designed to be the leader in automated currency conversions. Tristan led the development team, conceived of the basic elements of the interface, and has supervised implementation by the lead developers, Interesting Software of Anguilla. Tristan oversees technical operations and development, company policy, and business expansion.
